E.C. Sykes is a senior business executive with over 30 years of global experience.  He was CEO of three companies (two private, one public) and Group President of a $25B public company where he managed 35K people and revenue of $4B+. E.C.’s reputation for rapidly scaling companies combines his ability to see the market’s direction and an intense focus on execution.

E.C. was born and raised in the Research Triangle Park Area.  He earned his bachelor’s in engineering and masters in management from North Carolina State University.  As an alumnus of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, he served on their advisory committee and has been inducted into their Hall of Fame. He has served on the board of a local chamber of commerce, hospital, and various non-profit organizations.  He and his wife of 37 years were homeschool parents, foster parents and are grandparents. 

E.C. founded Aslan Ventures in 2014 as an investment alternative to stocks and bonds to deliver similar or better returns. The Aslan Ventures investment group has consistently delivered returns above the target range.
